Kayla began her dance career at the age of 3. She spent her last years training at Barre None Studio in Shawnigan Lake under Kelli McLeod & Olivia Boudreau. Kayla has been assisting teaching in 2008 and in 2010 began teaching on her own and spent the summer of 2010 leading summer camps at Adagé Studio. Kayla is known for being an extremely expressive performer and is looking forward to sharing her experience with her students.  This fall Kayla will continue her training at the Canadian College of Performing Arts in Victoria, B.C.

Kayla has won numerous dance awards at island wide festivals over the past few years. She has been selected to dance in festival galas to showcase the best performers from the festival week. Over the past few years Kayla has been attending Coastal Dance Rage where she worked with So You Think You Can Dance choreographers Twitch, Tabitha & Napoleon, Luther Brown, Blake McGrath & more. This upcoming year Kayla will also be continuing her training and working towards her final dance certification with the R.A.D.
